Linux MultiMedia Studio (LMMS) is a free cross-platform alternative to commercial programs like FL Studio®, which allow you to produce music with your computer. This includes the creation of melodies and beats, the synthesis and mixing of sounds, and arranging of samples. You can have fun with your MIDI-keyboard and much more; all in a user-friendly and modern interface.

Linux MultiMedia Studio (LMMS) Installation:
Open the terminal and type following command to add the Linux MultiMedia Studio (LMMS) repository which will keep your Linux MultiMedia Studio (LMMS) updated:
sudo apt-add-repository ppa:dns/sound
Type the following command to install the Linux MultiMedia Studio (LMMS)
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install lmms
After successful installation, you can open the Linux MultiMedia Studio (LMMS) from the unity 'dash'
